Aberdeen & Northern Marts are set to host one of the first Breeding Cattle and Multi-breed Pedigree Beef Bulls and Female show and sales of the season with the upcoming event taking place on Wednesday 1^st May at Thainstone Centre, Inverurie.

The show and sale, which is sponsored by East Coast Viners, will see a strong entry of 470 breeding cattle forward, featuring 312 adult head including heifers with calves and cows with calves at foot, 120 BVD virus free and vaccinated bulling heifers and 38 breeding bulls including pedigree bulls.

Colin Stuart from Belnoe, Glenlivet will take on the role of judging the entries forward for the show.

John Angus, Head of Livestock at Aberdeen & Northern Marts said: “We are thrilled to see a strong entry forward for what is one of the first big breeding sales of the season. This is the prime time to source breeding stock and we encourage all bidders to preview lots ahead of the sale at the show.
